Answers

1. Why are delivery times so long?

This is to eliminate waste fabric, so stock is not kept in warehouses using electricity unnecessarily. Each time we receive an order we instruct our machinists to cut, make and sew your slip. As the fabric is so delicate and can easily get damaged or soiled we do not hold stock. Your slip is being made from the point we receive your order and we endeavour to dispatch within 10 days.

2. I do not have a paypal account, how can I pay for SimplySlips items on this site?

Paypal now accepts all credit cards for those users who do not have a Paypal account. It is easy, just purchase items on this site as normal and when proceeding to the checkout you will be prompted to log into Paypal. On the same page you will see a link that will allow you to pay directly via a Credit or Debit Card.

3. What is the returns policy for SimplySlips items purchased on this site?

We want you to be thrilled with your purchase and we are certain you will be, but mistakes are made and we understand. Any items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days. Please fill out a returns form so that we can provide you with a returns number, after which you are authorised to return your goods. All returned items must be received in pristine condition otherwise a refund will not be given to the customer. It is recommended that recorded delivery is obtained when submitting items for return or exchange. Please refer to the Delivery tab for further information or contact us at info@simplyslips.co.uk

4. Where is the returns form located?

This will be dispatched with your order.

5. Ooops I've brought the wrong slip! Can I exchange my slip for a different size or colour slip?

Yes you can, as long as your return is received in perfect condition. Email us detailing the nature of the change and we will be glad to help. Where a product differs in price, a statement will be sent to your address explaining any refund or additional charge.

6. Why SimplySlips? What makes a 'SimplySlips' slip so good?

The fabric is beautiful and ethical at the same time. The silk worms are able to live instead of being specifically farmed for the purpose of mass produced silk and so killed for their silk. SimplySlips will be your one stop shop for slips of all sizes and colours as we add to our collection and bespoke services this year.

7. Do I get a discount if I purchase SimplySlips items in bulk?

We will contact bulk purchase customers regarding any promotional offers that we have. In time, if there is sufficient call, we will post details on the website.

8. What material are the slips made from?

100% pure natural organic silk! SimplySlips are made from the finest ethically produced material found on the planet. The ethical practices can make processes more expensive because the fabric and supply of organic materials can be costlier than mass production.

9. Is the delivery packaging recyclable?

Yes, all of the tissue paper is recyclable, along with the delivery envelope and label. Where possible, we have eliminated the use of plastic. SimplySlips also doesn't use swing tags or plastic Kimble's on its clothing and you will only find one label with all the necessary information in the side seam of your slip. There is no branded label in the back neck, primarily for comfort reasons as they are often scratchy, but also their removal is beneficial to the environment.
